Installation view. I placed the work in a busy hallway to encourage people to confront the taboo topic of menstruation.
Object as Self - Gender Orbs, 2024. Galvanized steel wire, camping lightbulbs, AAA batteries, tulle, Ziploc bags, clear tape, fishing line, metal hook, chain, wood, mesh jersey, copper wire, solder. Clear orb measures 17" in diameter; multi-color orb measures 10" in diameter with 16.5" extension; yellow orb measures 12" in diameter with 6" extension.
